Fan Friday: The Rogers' Two-Tone Convertible
This week’s Fan Friday spotlight shines on Phillip and Evelyn Rogers of Peachtree City, Georgia, and their stunning 1960 Chevrolet Corvette, affectionately named "Ruby." Ruby has been part of the Rogers' family for almost 7 years now! This convertible dazzles with its fiery red body, crisp white coves, and iconic white wall tires, embodying the timeless style of the golden era of American automotive design.
The 1960 Corvette belongs to the first generation, known as the C1, which set the standard for American sports cars. By 1960, the Corvette had refined its performance and style, offering a range of powerful V8 engines and updated styling cues, such as the iconic twin tail lights that debuted just a year earlier. These cars were designed for both elegance and excitement, balancing eye-catching curves with impressive on-road performance.
Phillip and Evelyn’s Corvette is a perfect example of this era’s design brilliance. With the top down, their convertible turns heads as it glides through town, showcasing its sleek lines and signature two-tone finish. Whether parked at a local car show or cruising the streets of Peachtree City, this classic is a testament to Chevrolet’s enduring craftsmanship and legacy.
Got a Corvette you’d like to share? Send us your story for a chance to be featured in our next Fan Friday!

Looks like “Ruby” took her love to town and became the toast of the town!”
Thank you for honoring our “Ruby” with this spotlight on her. We love having her and cruising out to dinner or just to “stretch her legs” while getting ice cream. She always gets the attention of other drivers.
