What This Is
A custom-sewn leather cover that you glue and hand-stitch onto your existing 1976-88 Porsche 924 shift knob. It is not a new shift knob.

Installation

You'll remove the old covering, glue the new cover on, lace the seams, finish the edges, and reinstall the knob.

Step 1. The original arm rest.
Step 2. With a small Phillips head screwdriver remove the screws from the under side of the arm rest.
Step 3. Separate the arm rest from the plastic arm rest/storage hinge. Slip the new padded arm rest cover over the old armrest.
Step 4. Position the newly covered arm rest on the plastic armrest/storage hinge.
Step 5. Attach the arm rest to the plastic arm rest/storage hinge using the same small screws that were removed.
Leather care: apply a leather conditioner with UV protection every 4-6 weeks to keep it from drying out and cracking.
