What This Is
A custom-sewn leather e-brake boot for your 1962-80 MG MGB. It replaces the factory boot and installs on your factory frame or trim. It is not a complete e-brake assembly.

- Not included: e-brake handle, trim or hardware. You reuse your factory parts.

Installation
Difficulty: Moderate | Tools: screwdrivers, basic hand tools, glue or a stapler depending on your frame
You'll remove the e-brake trim, move the new boot onto your factory frame, and reinstall.

Step 1. Loosen jam nut and unscrew shift knob.
Step 2. Remove four screws holding down shifter bezel.
Step 3. Remove original shift boot.
Step 4. Slide new shift boot over shifter.
Step 5. Reinstall shift boot bezel and screws. Reinstall shift knob and jam nut.
Step 6. Remove passenger seat by first sliding seat back and removing front two bolts.
Step 7. Then slide seat forward and remove two rear bolts.
Step 8. Then lift vehicle and place on jack stands.
Step 9. Remove parking brake adjustment nut and remove cable from parking brake mechanism.
Step 10. Remove three screws from parking brake handle. Remove handle from car.
Step 11. Install boot on handle and reinstall in car. Reconnect cable to parking brake handle and lower vehicle. Reinstall seat.
Leather care: apply a leather conditioner with UV protection every 4-6 weeks to keep it from drying out and cracking.
